An idea from a World Cup night
Goatonomics started as a joke between Shreyash Sharma and me during the World Cup. Half the internet was arguing, again, about who the greatest actually is. So we asked a sillier, better question: what if you could rate the greats like assets, and hang them on your wall? Ten days later it was a real thing.
The Goatness Index
The joke that carried everything. Every great gets a rating out of a hundred and a one-line analyst note, framed, straight-faced, as a financial asset. It set the tone of voice, the brand, and the reason to keep scrolling, all in one small device. Half the work of a brand is deciding how it talks, and this decided it in a sentence.
The greats, as flat-vector portraits
The heart of it is the art: each great redrawn as a clean, geometric, flat-vector portrait you would actually want on a wall.

Built with a friend, fast
The best part was the pace and the company. Shreyash and I split the work and shipped in ten days, no committee, no backlog, just two people enjoying the making. Experiments like this are where I keep my hands warm and my taste honest, away from the weight of a roadmap. The constraint was the gift: ten days forces you to trust your first good instinct and move.
Ten days in
The response surprised us both. In the first ten days it crossed ten thousand views, picked up fifty and more followers, ran past three hours of watch time, and drew over five hundred profile visits. We fulfilled our first five orders by hand, and the website launches soon. Not bad for a joke that got out of hand.
